Les Galipages Blanc de Noirs

An Expression of Depth and Character

Les Galipages Blanc de Noirs is a distinguished sparkling wine crafted exclusively from red grapes, showcasing the unique characteristics of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This cuvée exemplifies the artistry of Champagne production, highlighting the depth and complexity that can be achieved through careful vinification techniques.

Terroir and Viticulture

Sourced from vineyards in the Champagne region, Les Galipages Blanc de Noirs benefits from the diverse terroirs that contribute to the wine's unique profile. The vines thrive in the region's chalky soils, which provide excellent drainage and mineral richness, allowing the grapes to develop intense flavors. Careful vineyard management practices, including sustainable farming, ensure that the grapes are harvested at their peak ripeness.

Vinification Process

The production of Les Galipages Blanc de Noirs begins with hand-harvesting the grapes to preserve their quality. After a gentle pressing, the juice is carefully separated from the skins to maintain the wine's bright color and fresh aromas. The primary fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, allowing for the retention of the grapes' varietal characteristics.

The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, which softens acidity and adds complexity. Afterward, it is aged on its lees for an extended period, enhancing the wine's texture and depth. The second fermentation in the bottle creates the fine bubbles characteristic of Champagne, resulting in a refined sparkling wine that captures the essence of its varietal origins.
